Lo studio analizza dal punto di vista statistico gli infortuni sul lavoro e le malattie professionali denunciati all’Inail nel periodo 2010-2016, evidenziando le relazioni tra salute e lavoro negli anni della crisi economica, con approfondimenti rispetto alle principali caratteristiche che contraddistinguono gli eventi e i soggetti coinvolti quali le modalità di accadimento, il territorio, le attività economiche e gli aspetti demografici. Emerge che, mentre gli infortuni sul lavoro mostrano un trend in diminuzione in atto da quasi un ventennio, con un lieve incremento solo nel 2016 (+1,0% sui casi denunciati del 2015), contestualmente le malattie professionali proseguono il trend crescente, in forma più attenuata nell’ultimo anno (+2,3%). Ampio spazio è stato dedicato anche agli eventi infortunistici con esito mortale. Elaborata, inoltre, una misura indicativa dell’andamento nel periodo osservato del rischio infortunistico che nel 2016 resta caratterizzato da livelli più elevati in alcuni settori produttivi quali l’agricoltura e le costruzioni, tra gli stranieri più che negli italiani, negli uomini più che nelle donne e nelle fasce di età più giovani.

The study analyzes the accidents at work and the occupational diseases reported to Inail in the period 2010-2016, highlighting the relationship between health and work in the years of the economic crisis, with insights into the main characteristics that distinguish the events and subjects involved such as the methods of occurrence, the territory, economic activities and demographic aspects. It emerges that, while accidents at work show a downward trend in progress for almost twenty years, with a slight increase only in 2016 (+ 1.0% on cases reported in 2015), contextually professional diseases continue the growing trend, in more attenuated form in the last year (+ 2.3%). Ample space was also dedicated to accident events with a fatal outcome. Furthermore, an indicative measure of the trend in the observed period of accident risk has been elaborated which in 2016 remains characterized by higher levels in some sectors of economic activity such as agriculture and construction, among foreigners more than in italians, in men more than in women and in the age groups of young people.
