L’evoluzione della società e della percezione della salute da parte dei cittadini pone nuove responsabilità alle Istituzioni: infatti, con una più diffusa e avvertita sensibilità per la qualità della vita, ci si interroga sempre più frequentemente sulle condizioni fisiche e di benessere della propria esperienza lavorativa e si avverte con maggior consapevolezza il diritto ad una vita e a un ambiente qualitativamente migliori. Inoltre, la profonda trasformazione in atto del rapporto tra la produzione, sempre più on demand e sempre meno programmata, e il mercato appare ormai un fatto strutturale che impone la necessità di adattare l’organizzazione del lavoro alle nuove esigenze non sempre perfettamente prevedibili. Vengono pertanto affrontate alcune criticità ma anche spunti di miglioramento dell’apparato normativo vigente e delle politiche di prevenzione che impegnano soprattutto le Regioni, le Province autonome e i Ministeri con gli Istituti centrali, nella realizzazione di azioni dirette alla salvaguardia della salute e della sicurezza del “cittadino che lavora”.

The evolution of society and the perception of health by citizens lead to new responsibilities for Institutions: in fact, with a more widespread and perceived sensitivity towards the quality of life, we question more and more frequently the physical and welfare conditions of our work experience and are increasingly aware of the right to a better quality of life and environment. Furthermore, the profound transformation underway of the relationship between production, ever more on demand and ever less planned, and the market appears by now to be a structural phenomenon that imposes the need to adapt the organisation of work to fit the new requirements that are not always entirely predictable. Therefore, it deals with some critical aspects but also some ideas for improving the existing regulatory apparatus and prevention policies that engage above all the Regions, Autonomous Provinces and the Ministries with the Central Institutions in the implementation of measures intended to safeguard health and safety of “working citizens”.
