La valutazione della sordità professionale ed il suo pretestato aggravamentocostituiscono un frequente argomento di controversia. La maggior parte dellabibliografia ritiene che l’ipoacusia da rumore non progredisca quando cessa l’esposizionea rischio. Non è sufficiente la semplice analisi di audiometrie effettuatesul soggetto ma lo studio comparato dell’esposizione a rumore. Parole chiave : sordità- rumore - lavoro - esposizione professionale.

The evaluation of professional noise-induced hearing loss and our theoreticalevolution over time has always been a controversial topic. Most scientificevidence indicates that hearing loss due to noise does not progress oncethe exposure to noise is stopped.
