L’ articolo propone un excursus sulla evoluzione della tutela delle malattie professionali, dal sistema tabellare, all’esperienza del sistema misto dell’ultimo decennio, all’esigenza attuale della previsione di una nuova nozione giuridica di malattia professionale. In linea con quanto evidenziato anche nella relazione del Senatore Smuraglia, l’A. auspica l’attivazione presso l’INAIL, di un sistema informativo-epidemiologico che, in sinergia con gli altri soggetti pubblici che operano nel settore della sanità e della prevenzione, e con i sistemi di prevenzione delle aziende, possa realizzare una efficace politica di monitoraggio e controllo sia ai fini prevenzionali che assicurativi.

The article proposes an excursus on the evolution of the protection of industrial diseases, from the tabular system to the experience of the mixed system of the last ten years and on to the relevant requirement of a new juridical idea of industrial disease. In line with what has been pointed out in the report of Senator Smuraglia, the author hopes to see activated by INAIL an informative-epidemiological system which, in synergy with the other public subjects that are working in the sectors of health and prevention and with the prevention systems of the enterprises, should realize en effective policy of monitoring and control, both for preventive and insurance aims.
