In relazione all’introduzione con il D. Lgs. 38/2000 della tutela degli sportiviprofessionisti, gli AA. hanno esaminato l’evoluzione del fenomeno sul territorionazionale, effettuando una rilevazione statistica degli infortuni dall’entratain vigore del predetto Decreto a tutto l’anno 2006. Da tale analisi sono emersisia valori inferiori al dato atteso che rilevanti diversità territoriali, per le qualigli stessi AA. hanno ritenuto di poterne individuare alcune motivazioni, auspicandouna sempre maggiore presenza dell’INAIL sul territorio ed una interazionecon gli Organi sportivi preposti.

Following up the introduction of the protection of professional sportsmen, asper Law Decree 38/2000, the Authors have analyzed the evolution of the phenomenonon the national territory by means of a statistical survey of accidentsoccurred from the coming into force of the Decree until the end of year 2006.The survey has shown lower data than expected and important territorial differences.As the Authors consider possible to identify some of the reasons of suchdifferences, they hope for an increased presence of INAIL entities all over theterritory and a major integration with the competent Sporting bodies.
