L’Autore esamina il rischio fisico nell’ambito dell’attività professionale dell’infermiere. Vengono presentati i vari tipi di rischio fisico con esclusione di quelli che non risultano tra i rischi professionali per tale attività. Vengono trattate in modo sintetico le caratteristiche dei vari agenti di rischio e presentate le patologie derivanti da tale esposizione; con una breve disamina delle mansioni a rischio, delle metodiche e dei dispositivi da attuare per la prevenzione, dai dispositivi di protezione individuale alla messa in atto dei sistemi di protezione ambientale-strutturale. Da ultimo vengono riportati i riferimenti normativi più recenti in materia di rischio fisico.

The Author inquires into the physical risk in the nurse’s professional activity. In the text are considered the different kinds of physical risks, with the exception of those not included in the occupational risks for this activity. The author synthetically deals with the characteristics of the various risks’ factors and describes the pathologies deriving from such exposure, with a short study of the duties at risk, of the methodologies and of the contrivances to put into effect for prevention, starting from personal protection’s devices to the setting up of the environmental-structural protection’s systems. The latest normative references on the subject of physical risk are also reported.
