Gli Autori hanno osservato diversi casi di distacco di retina di controversa natura traumatica. Analizzando gli aspetti etiologici e clinici di questa patologia hanno considerato le difficoltà che a volte si presentano per arrivare ad una corretta ricostruzione del nesso di causalità, specialmente in presenza di concorrenti preesistenze extralavoro. Pertanto gli Autori suggeriscono dei criteri generali per identificare il distacco di retina di natura post-traumatica in infortunistica sul lavoro.

Authors have observed several cases of detachment of the retina in which there is a controversial post-traumatic origin. They analysed the etiological and clinical aspects of this pathology and considered the difficulties that there can be at times to manage to reconstruct correctly the causal nexus, this problem occurs especially when there are concurrent pre-existences beyond the work. For this reason, Authors suggest general criteria to identify the detachment of the retina of post traumatic origin in industrial injuries study.
