The Author devotes this article to an accurate reconstruction of the generalapproach and specific treatment in the volume by Aldo De Matteis, on Workplace Accidents and occupational diseases, highlighting the new developmentson approach, comparing them to that of the previous editions, and to the efficacious, closer examination of major current affairs issues, all recalled with comprehensive discussion and hermeneutical direction in the most controversial passages... Starting with that in-depth study, and interspersing references to thecontents of the text, the Author again proposes even critical reflection and directionof current insurance protection for occupational hazards which appear eclipsedcompared to the increased centrality of prevention, and of the plan evolvingfrom the legislator toward redimensioning the compensatory function in the faceof the proliferation of autonomous funds and separate management in the accidentinsurance system.
